The famous wooden chairs, known for their sturdiness and their comfort, are manufactured in Phini. Chair making is a difficult job and for this reason only one person is occupied with their construction today, Mr. Charalambos Charalambous.
The village of Phini developed a unique and extensive tradition in pottery, the history of which goes
back into the centuries. During the past centuries it has been one of the four most important centres of
the craft of pottery in Cyprus.
